Burnaby (Burny or 'Burny Baby')
Male Beluga Whale
Born July 2006 to Gemini.
Located in the front pool at Friendship Cove.
Burnaby has a very spherical rostrum, much like a ball. It comes in and over top quite a bit above his rostrum, which is fairly short to begin with. His rostrum puckers outwards. He has two noticeable scratches on the left side of his melon (seen above). His eyes are dark and large. He is a dark grey colour because he is still very young. His teeth are starting to come in, but he is relatively toothless. He has a white ring around his neck and two faint white scratches on his bottom right jaw.
Burnaby is very friendly. He loves playing with people at the glass (especially children) and enjoys being silly, often opening his mouth and blowing bubbles. One of his favourite pass times is to play with pebbles and leaves, which he carries around in his mouth and throws around underwater. He and Horus are the only belugas so far that know how to do bows. He can jump very high when he puts his mind to it! Him and Jellybean have been seen spending a lot of time together.
